SOUTH EAST LONDON WEDDING
Elaine & Matt celebrated all over South East London during summer, starting off getting ready at The Windmill Hotel in Clapham, followed by a ceremony at The Old Library at Dulwich College, and ending with a reception at 100 Barrington in Brixton.

CEREMONY AT THE OLD LIBRARY DULWICH COLLEGE
Continuing with the celebration of South East London wedding venues, Matt & Elaine chose to get married at the Old Library at Dulwich College.
They brought their own festival fun to the Old Library by adding in a giant pink tasseled arch (that was carted off to 100 Barrington by some helpful groomsmen as used as a background for their reception too!).
They used Dulwich College’s 2 hour booking slot for the Old Library to add their arch and flowers for up to 130 seated guests. You can read more about getting married at Dulwich College here.
WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHY AT DULWICH COLLEGE
The best part about having your ceremony at the Old Library at Dulwich College is that you get access to their incredible grounds for your photos.
So while the rest of their guests boarded buses and headed off to 100 Barrington, Elaine and Matt were able to take their family photos, and couples photos in the grounds of Dulwich College.
And although there’s the very impressive main school building as a backdrop – they also wanted some more simple spots for their images, so we got creative with the gardens and school architecture too.
FESTIVAL INSPIRED WEDDING RECEPTION AT 100 BARRINGTON
Choosing to only have their reception at 100 Barrington (and not their ceremony), meant that the venue was ready for their guests to enjoy drinks, and wait for the couple to join them after their photos.
I’m a BIG fan of sending your guests ahead to your reception venue, because it always takes ages to coordinate, allows them to settle in with a drink, and gives you a chance to have some time on your own, and some pictures.
We had their wedding party meet us outside at the iconic 100 Barrington Rainbow for a group photo, and a quick wander down the side streets.
