Autumnal Brixton Warehouse Wedding

CAROLINE & TOLGA’S WEDDING AT 100 BARRINGTON IN BRIXTON

Caroline & Tolga chose to celebrate all things South London for their modern warehouse wedding at 100 Barrington in Brixton.

Ditching traditions, Caroline wore an epic two piece, with the most impactful flowing white trousers, and opted for an additional headdress in the evening.

Choosing to keep everything on site at 100 Barrington, meant that their wedding festivities ran smoothly and to time, which allowed for maximum party celebrating later in the evening!

GETTING READY AT THE HOXTON IN SOUTHWARK

Picking a modern industrial hotel in South East London – the Hoxton in Southwark, meant that everyone could get ready close by.

The Hoxton in Southwark is inspired by South London tanneries and factories, which fits in perfectly with their decision to host their reception at 100 Barrington, and their modern warehouse wedding aesthetic.

Caroline got ready in one of the Hoxton’s “Biggy” rooms, which meant there was plenty of light, plenty of space and so many creative spots for me to work with & display her wedding attire.

WEDDING RECEPTION AT 100 BARRINGTON

Caroline & Tolga chose to have both their ceremony and reception at 100 Barrington and were married by a Lambeth Registrar. Arriving in an epic vintage car that Caroline’s dad has restored (after doing a solo father daughter drive through London), Caroline was greeted by all her guests while Tolga waited inside (tradition be damned!).

After a quick ceremony, they left plenty of time to mingle with their guests in the Barrington courtyard while the room was being turned around, and getting set up for the reception.

Family photos were done at the back of the courtyard against the wooden wall, and the couple snuck out for about 20 minutes to the iconic rainbow wall and a speedy mosey about the Brixton streets.

A truly delicious vegan dinner followed with emotionally charged speeches before the all important dancefloor opened (nice and early!).

A late night snack of falafel and a quick change into an evening crown wrapped up the night.
