Richmond Hill Hotel Wedding

RICHMOND HILL HOTEL WEDDING

So many of my couples have gotten ready at Richmond Hill Hotel, a Georgian Hotel super close by to Richmond Park, and with the most lovely views over the Thames Valley.

If you’re looking for a spot to get ready for your wedding at Pembroke Lodge, Kew Gardens, or Orleans House Gallery – you can’t go wrong with Richmond Hill Hotel

And you could even have your reception here too!

GETTING READY FOR YOUR WEDDING AT RICHMOND HILL HOTEL

The Georgian rooms at Richmond Hill Hotel are a firm favourite for my couples to get ready in. And here’s why…

When you get ready at Richmond Hill Hotel, you’re incredibly close by to a couple of my favourite venues – like Orleans House Gallery, Kew Gardens and Pembroke Lodge. So this means an easy start and end to your wedding day.

But you’ve also got lots of options for your early morning photographs, either in their tastefully decorated rooms, the downstairs bar (a favourite for me to take grooms!), or across the road at the Richmond Hill Viewing point.

WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHY RICHMOND HILL VIEWING POINT

If you’re getting married on a Saturday, you’re bound to run into at least two to three other couples having their wedding photos taken at Richmond Hill Viewing Point. In fact, if you’re a Ted Lasso fan – this is where Keeley had her photoshoot!

There are gorgeous views of the Thames Valley and river, and the path gives you so much space to take photos and have a breather before heading off to your wedding ceremony. So if you’re thinking of where you might take your bridal portraits or couple’s photos – this is great place to go.

If you’ve got time and you’re feeling a bit more adventurous, we can venture down into the Terrace Gardens for even more photos and gorgeous scenery.

A FIRST LOOK AT RICHMOND HILL VIEWING POINT

One of my favourite things for couples to do is a first look. This is a great option if you’d like to spend some time together ahead of your wedding ceremony, either for photos, or just because you’d like some alone time.

What we can do is arrange for one of you to wait patiently at the viewing point location, while the other sort of sneaks up behind. I’ll stand back, and let you experience that moment of seeing each other for the first time without interuption. It can be such a special moment, and there’s no better view to do it in.

WEDDING RECEPTION AT RICHMOND HILL HOTEL

If you’ve gotten married somewhere like York House in Twickenham or at Orleans House Gallery, you might need somewhere to host your wedding reception. Richmond Hill Hotel has some great rooms you can use for your evening meal.
