Hounslow Registry Office Wedding

Hounslow Registry Office Wedding

When Jess & Kieran had to change wedding plans during the coronavirus pandemic, they decided to have a Hounslow Registry Office wedding, following it with a backyard wedding at their home, a few blocks away.

While I wasn’t allowed inside, due to the Covid restrictions at the time, there was so much of a story to tell in the before & after of their intimate ceremony.

Covid Wedding

Just because your wedding is small, different, or just has you, your partner and your mums as witnesses – doesn’t mean it can’t be important, special and meaningful. Don’t rush any of the elements – if you’re waiting in the car park before your ceremony, use that time to chat with your family & friends who you’ve invited. We’ve all realised how important is to spend time together throughout this pandemic – so enjoy those pockets of calm & waiting on your wedding day.

Lockdown Wedding

When your plans change – your wedding might change too. Go with the flow! When Jess realised they were no longer going to have the big elaborate wedding they had planned, she made some changes. Got a new dress, bought some fancy sneakers & had fun with the idea of a quick & short registry office wedding. She actually told me, that before lockdown hit, she wouldn’t have known that a quiet and relaxed wedding was what she really wanted. So if circumstances change – go with it!

Hounslow Town Hall Wedding

Jess & Kieran’s ceremony took place at Feltham Lodge at Hounslow Registry Office, which is not only really pretty on the outside, but has a beautiful green space & garden out back that was perfect for taking some family photos and photos of just the two of them.
