THE LOCATION
I flew out to Tuscany, to Borgo Di Castelvecchio for Jill & Shane’s incredible destination wedding. Everything including the night before took place on site.
THE DAY
I was able to photograph Jill & Shane’s day before event, as well as their wedding itself. Everything took place in one place, so it was easy enough to pop all around to capture the day. Being there the day before meant that everyone was comfortable with me, and made the coverage feel seamless.
THE PACKAGE
The Unlimited Package (12 hours), which included two additional hours of coverage for them to use as they pleased, as well as a European travel fee.
Micaela is an absolute DREAM! Please don’t look any further. She photographed our wedding weekend in Italy and did a phenomenal job.
All of our guests are commenting on how we have the most beautiful wedding photos they’ve ever seen, and also how wonderfully she interacted with them throughout the weekend.
Micaela has a meticulous “onboarding” (so to speak) process, so that she really understands what is important to you for her to capture, and truly takes the time to get to know you as a couple. Not only did she capture us as a couple, but she got beautiful shots of our wedding details, our guests, and captured the entire vibe through her photos.
She also was a MASSIVE help in creating our schedule for the day, and gave us lots of tips for timing and flow of events. She’s pretty much a photographer and wedding coordinator all in one!
We initially felt awkward about taking our more staged shots, so Micaela lightened the mood with jokes and provided lots of direction - ultimately allowing us to have so much fun with the process, and you can tell how much fun we’re having when you see the photos.
