London Church Wedding

Olivia & Paul had a small & intimate church wedding at Holy Trinity Brompton in London. Due to the pandemic, and covid restrictions their wedding was small, and socially distanced, but still so special.

Despite Olivia’s parents being unable to come to the UK, they still joined via Zoom, and were all dressed up & ready to celebrate from a far. While this was one of the first weddings that was allowed in 2020, everyone was very respectful of covid guidelines while indoors and Olivia & Paul even gave away hand sanitiser as little gifts!

Very conveniently, Holy Trinity Brompton has a beautiful garden on site that made for some gorgeous photographs & a chance for Olivia & Paul to spend some time together while everyone headed off to a local pub to celebrate. Not only were there some beautiful trees & greenery, but the backdrop of the church itself worked so well for the photographs.

Church Wedding Photography

When I’m photographing a wedding in a church, I’m always incredibly respectful of the rules & guidelines the priest or minister would like me to follow. Every celebrant & church is different. If allowed, I’ll quietly and discreetly move around capturing the guests, the ceremony itself and the couple. The real key is to wear quiet shoes, and move during moments when things are happening – like clapping or singing.
