An Intimate City Chambers Elopement

THE LOCATION

Curtis & Zoe got ready at the Virgin Hotel on the Royal Mile, before heading to the European Room at the Edinburgh City Chambers, ahead of drinks at The Devil’s Advocate.

THE DAY

This was between Christmas and New Years, so Edinburgh was surprisingly busy, and all the Christmas decorations were up. Since the had no guests and no family photos to take, and their hotel was close to the City Chambers, we were able to get a few photos in the hotel room, and the hotel terrace before wandering the streets of Edinburgh ahead of their ceremony. After their ceremony, we took a few more photos along the mile before I dropped them off for their dinner at The Devils Advocate.

PACKAGE

The Mini Package; 2 hours of photography coverage.

Micaela was a wonderful photographer to work with from start to finish. From first contact she made it easy and seamless to get in touch, jump on a call and help plan our photo locations and timings for the day.

We got married in Edinburgh but don't live there and so we were more than happy to receive the guidance that Micaela provided. We were feeling a bit awkward and unsure about how we would deal with photos but on the day she made us feel totally at ease especially as we taking shots in and around a busy royal mile!

Final thing to say is that we love the results! We were so happy with the composition and quality of photos which were beautifully presented in an online gallery we could share with family and friends.
